As a nationally acclaimed author, successful entrepreneur and professional speaker, James has risen to national prominence by delivering inspirational books and high-powered speeches! He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 15, 1967.He was educated in the Atlanta Public School System, prior to attending Alabama State University on a baseball scholarship.

In 1987, he joined the United States Army and his life changed for the better! Considering him a late bloomer would be an understatement. During his military career, in 1988, he was recognized as Soldier of the Year.

In 1990, he served our country honorably and faithfully during Operation Desert Storm and was highly decorated for his contributions during the war. In 1991, he was selected Sergeant of the Quarter, and in 1993, selected as the Outstanding R.O.T.C. Cadet at Augusta State University.

The military accolades did not stop there. In 1997, he was selected as the Officer Candidate School’s Instructor of the Cycle and promoted to the rank of captain.

After being honorably discharged from the military, James has been a consultant for many of the top companies in the United States. Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Walgreens Drugstore, George S. May Management Consulting firm, Cintas Corporation, Hardees Franchise, Allianz Life Insurance, New York Life, and Mortgage Investors Corporation and Walmart… just to name a few.

Now, after completing five college degrees, owning several successful businesses, completing the Louis La Volpe’s Film Directors Course, and writing two best selling books, James is on a mission to teach and inspire the masses!
